i am out of butter at home. and well i dont have a car. im only 16. but i need to make brownies for my friends at school for xmas. but my mommy isnt home and i can't get any butter. what can i use instead of butter but still make the brownies scrumptious and tasty?What can you use instead of butter in a brownie recipe?

You also use canned black beans. Drain them. Mash them up well.
You can use stick margarine, or solid shortening, [the white stuff that comes in a can], but maybe you could go to a neighbor and ask for help. People used to do this all the time, although that was a while ago, when people were actually nice to each other.
i think applesauce???
